hi, i’m kiera. 

i left the teaching world and am now working a desk job. i miss the hustle and bustle of education and the wonderful curiosity of the students (elementary school). Pebble + Fern was born from the desire to create, curiosity for a new medium, and the desire to bring my work with me on my travels.

i’ve now called beadwork a “new medium” but in reality it’s an old love of mine i’d lost touch with. as a kid i’d look forward to magical trips to the bead store with my step mom, and would spend hours creating from second hand beads gifted by my great-mémé. 

creating these pieces feels like coming home after a long adventure: welcoming and familiar. my hope is that these earrings bring you joy and you feel that nothing can bring you down while you’re wearing them.
